Gordon Ramsay’s Wife Tana Opens Up About the Challenges of Pregnancy at 49


Tana Ramsay, wife of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, has recently given birth to their sixth child at the age of 49

However, she has shared that the past nine months have been filled with anxiety after experiencing a previous miscarriage.

Gordon, 57, proudly announced the arrival of their son on 8 November, expressing his joy and gratitude. In a heartwarming photo, Tana can be seen beaming with their newborn, while Gordon lovingly kisses the baby’s bonnet-covered head.

The couple named their newest addition Jesse James Ramsay, who was born on or near Gordon’s own birthday sharing their Ramsay family is now complete. Gordon and Tana, who have been married since 1996, are also proud parents to their five other children: Megan, 24, twins Jack and Holly, 23, Tilly, 22, and Oscar, 4.

On her own Instagram page, Tana revealed that this pregnancy had been a nerve-racking time for her due to the previous loss of their son Rocky five months into her pregnancy in 2016

Despite the worries, she expressed gratitude for their new bundle of joy, stating, “It’s been a nerve-wracking 9 months, but we’ve made it and we have been blessed with this little bundle.”

In a touching tribute during Baby Loss Awareness Week, Tana shared a family portrait with Gordon and their other children, where she reminisced about their lost baby.

She shared the ongoing pain they feel and how they miss Rocky every day, while also acknowledging the importance of their family’s support

Gordon also spoke about the trauma of losing Rocky, describing it as a challenging and life-changing experience for their family. However, he emphasised that it brought them closer together and strengthened their bond. The couple later welcomed their fifth child, Oscar James, in April 2019, and now with the arrival of Jesse, they are complete.

The news of Jesse’s birth was met with congratulations and well wishes from fans and celebrity friends, including the Beckhams, Dawn French, Jamie Oliver, Emma Bunton, and many more
