Our fertility journey with Neupogen! On September 6th, 2023, my husband and I attended an appointment concerning our fertility journey with Neupogen which is an integral part of our IVF journey. In some IVF cases, healthcare providers consider Neupogen for its potential to enhance the uterine environment and improve implantation rates. This therapy can facilitate a more favorable uterine lining (endometrium) conducive to embryo implantation.

We had to send the Neupogen prescription to an out-of-state pharmacy, requiring Federal Express for delivery. The process was, to be honest, quite nerve-wracking. However, after overcoming some hurdles, we finally received the Neupogen on the same day as my appointment. Fortunately, my husband was able to leave work briefly to store the medication in the refrigerator, allowing us to meet back at home and make it to our evening appointment.

This appointment held a significant weight of anticipation for me, given my history of back-to-back surgeries since December 2022, all aimed at scar tissue removal. However, it enlightens me to share that this appointment was surprisingly less painful than I had expected. Despite my apprehensions, it turned out to be a relatively comfortable experience.

The journey has not been without its challenges, but we remain hopeful and committed to the path ahead.
