Supermodel Naomi Campbell has announced the birth of her second child at the age of 53
Naomi took to Instagram to reveal to her 15 million followers a sweet photo and caption featuring her holding the baby boy and his sister holding one of his little fingers.
The model, who is still working regularly with some of the top designers and magazines in the fashion industry, has long desired to have a family and expressed the joy she feels at being a mother of two.
She said in her caption: “My little darling, know that you are cherished beyond measure and surrounded by love from the moment you graced us with your presence. A True Gift from God, blessed! Welcome Baby boy. It’s never too late to become a mother.”
She was congratulated by many of her celebrity friends, including Bravo’s Andy Cohen, who has welcomed two children in the last four years.
He said: “And then there were two! A boyfriend for Lucy. I’m so happy for you.”
Naomi became a mother two years ago to a daughter and described becoming a mother as the best thing she has ever done.
No more details have been given about the birth of the child, and the catwalk star did not previously reveal she was expecting a second child.
