“Ongoing Medical Journey Update”

Welcome back to our “Ongoing Medical Journey Update!”

Welcome back to our “Ongoing Medical Journey Update!” Hello, everyone, and welcome! I’m here to provide you with an update on today’s medical appointment. Today, I had my two-week follow-up appointment after the Neupogen insertion procedure.

During the appointment, the medical professional carefully assessed the balloon’s condition. Following this evaluation, they determined that the fluid level within the balloon needed adjustment. Subsequently, upon examination, they observed that the upper lining exhibited greater thickness compared to the lower lining.

As a result, we decided to keep the balloon in place for an additional week. As part of my ongoing treatment plan, I will continue taking Estrace and the prescribed antibiotic. The antibiotic prescription serves to reduce the risk of infection. My daily routine includes taking Estrace at night, once a day, and administering the antibiotic following the same frequency.

I have a follow-up appointment scheduled for next week, and I’m optimistic that by then, the lower lining will match the thickness of the upper lining. Thanks for joining us on our “Ongoing Medical Journey Update.” I appreciate your continued thoughts and prayers during this journey. Wishing you all blessings and a wonderful evening ahead.

A Concise Recap:

On August 31, 2023, I underwent a hysteroscopy procedure to address scar tissue within the uterus. A balloon was put into place after surgery. The following day, September 1, 2023, I had an office visit for uterine PRP stem cell therapy. Subsequently, on September 6, 2023, I had another office visit, this time for Neupogen treatment.

What are Uterine PRP Stem Cells?

Uterine PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) stem cells, in the context of IVF (In Vitro Fertilization), refer to a specialized medical approach that involves using a patient’s own platelet-rich plasma containing regenerative stem cells. Typically, doctors harvest these stem cells from the patient’s own blood.

In the context of IVF, medical professionals may use uterine PRP stem cells to enhance the health and receptivity of the uterine lining. The idea is that by introducing these concentrated stem cells into the uterine environment, they can potentially stimulate tissue repair and regeneration, leading to a more favorable environment for embryo implantation and pregnancy.

This personalized approach aims to enhance the chances of a successful IVF procedure by optimizing the condition of the uterine lining, ultimately increasing the likelihood of a successful pregnancy.

Neupogen

Neupogen is a medication that stimulates the production of white blood cells, specifically neutrophils. However, it also has potential benefits for the uterine lining. It may enhance the growth and thickness of the endometrial lining, which is the inner lining of the uterus where embryos implant.
