Balloon Removal after Hysteroscopy

Post Hysteroscopy

Greetings, esteemed viewers, and welcome back! Today, I had the privilege of undergoing the removal of the balloon. I am with delight to share that I received a highly favorable medical assessment. An assessment indicating that everything appears to be progressing as anticipated. Notably, the placement of stem cells last week has yielded promising results. As confirmed by the doctor, who expressed satisfaction with the condition of the uterine lining. Per doctors orders, I will continue to take the estrogen until its’ completion. Following its conclusion, I will commence treatment with Provera, a medication intended to facilitate the resumption of my menstrual cycle. Once my period returns, I will promptly contact the medical office to arrange a saline ultrasound examination. The saline ultrasound will serve to ensure the absence of any residual scar tissue before embarking on the next stage of our in vitro fertilization (IVF) journey.

Uterine PRP Stem Cells

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP): PRP is a substance one derives from a person’s own blood. They obtain it by drawing a small amount of blood and then centrifuging it to separate the platelet-rich plasma from other components. Platelets contain growth factors that may promote tissue healing and regeneration. The uses of PRP include various medical fields, including orthopedics, dermatology, and some fertility treatments. On July 12th, I experienced this, which some may refer to as stem cell placement. In the past, one of the concerns has been with my uterine lining being too thin. By placing the platelet-rich plasma (PRP), this is to assist in helping my lining to grow thicker.

Previously, at my appointment on July 18th, there was an assessment. That assessment indicated that everything appears to be progressing as anticipated. The placement of stem cells last week has yielded promising results, and the doctor expressed satisfaction with the condition of the uterine lining at the time of my appointment.

The Next Step

I will continue to take the remaining dosage of estrogen. Following its conclusion, I will start the dosage Provera, which should facilitate the resumption of my menstrual cycle. Once my period reestablishes, I will contact the medical office to arrange a saline ultrasound examination in a timely fashion. The saline ultrasound will serve to ensure the absence of any residual scar tissue before embarking on the next stage of our in vitro fertilization (IVF) journey.
