Final Embryo Transfer :(Today, I’m sharing the heartbreaking news of our final embryo transfer. An emotional and deeply personal update on our long and transformative journey to parenthood. As many of you know, this road has been filled with highs and lows, hopes and heartbreaks. On May 9th, we placed our faith, dreams, and love into what we hoped would be our final step—an embryo transfer with our amazing gestational carrier. We transferred our last two frozen embryos, carrying not just cells of life, but the weight of years of prayers, longing, and unwavering belief.
Unfortunately, we have received devastating news. The HCG pregnancy test on May 23 confirmed a negative result.
This moment is incredibly painful. Knowing these were our last embryos adds an extra layer of grief and finality that words can hardly capture. It’s a tender time of reflection, mourning what could have been, and gently beginning to think about what may lie ahead.
This Chapter
This has been an incredibly challenging and soul-stretching chapter—one filled with emotional highs and devastating lows—as we continue to navigate the difficult and often unpredictable terrain of infertility. Each step forward has required a level of courage and vulnerability that is hard to put into words. As we process this most recent heartbreak, we are also gently exploring what steps lie ahead, reflecting on our journey thus far, and considering how we might move forward with hope, healing, and openness to the possibilities still to come.
