Australian actress Rebel Wilson has revealed she hopes to have another child via IVF to give her daughter a sibling
The 43-year-old Bridesmaids star said she is considering having a second child to join her nine-month-old daughter, Royce.
In an interview with E! News, Rebel said, “I’m definitely thinking about it, yeah. I would like to have another child. It’s just like, is that possible? I have to do IVF.
“We’ll see how it goes. Royce is such a miracle. And if she is my only child, then that is amazing.”
Rebel, engaged to Ramona Agruma, spent 2020 getting healthy, lost six stone, and changed her eating habits. She charted her ‘Year of Health’ on social media at the time, posting videos and images of her journey.
She had been diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) and was told her fertility was affected.
She told the Today programme: “I was lucky to get an embryo from the process because of my age and PCOS. I decided to go with surrogacy. Physically I could have carried the baby, but there was a much higher statistical chance that it would work with a surrogate.”
Rebel described her bond with Royce
She said: “When she wakes up from her nap, you first walk into the room. It’s the look she gives me and I give her, but we might only have been apart for 45 minutes. She is smiling, and I pick her up and give her the biggest hug.”
