Hi everyone, and welcome back! I wanted to stop by and give you an update, just as I promised. Today, my husband and I reached some exciting Surrogacy Journey Milestones that bring us one step closer to holding our baby in our arms.
Documents Reached Destination
First, we were thrilled to find out that our important legal and medical documents have officially arrived at their destination. This is a key part of the process because everything from embryo transport to medication protocols depends on those documents being in place and on time. Knowing they’ve arrived safely gives us peace of mind and keeps our timeline moving forward.
Diphereline Injection Date Set
Second—and even more exciting—is the update on our surrogate! She’s scheduled to receive her Diphereline injection on August 22nd. If you’ve been following along, you might remember that we thought it could happen on the 20th or 21st. Having a confirmed date is a big relief. The Diphereline injection is a critical part of the IVF protocol—it helps prepare her body for the embryo transfer by regulating hormones and aligning her cycle with our treatment plan. Every little step like this brings us closer to embryo transfer day, which fills our hearts with so much hope and anticipation.
From Paperwork to Progress: When the Journey Starts to Feel Real
This stage in the journey is where things start to feel real. We’ve moved from paperwork and planning into physical preparations, and that alone is worth celebrating. Every checkmark, every call, and every small win matters. It reminds us that no matter how long the journey has been, progress is still being made.
